This position oversees the operational performance and strategic coordination of textile manufacturing partners. The role ensures alignment between suppliers and business objectives, with a strong focus on quality standards, regulatory compliance, cost optimization, and sustainable sourcing practices within the textile industry. The position includes team supervision and plays a key role in strengthening vendor relationships across regional operations.Key Responsibilities
Textile Vendor Performance & Compliance
- Manage operational performance of textile manufacturing partners, ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and production standards.
- Monitor supplier performance related to materials, lead times, and manufacturing outputs.
- Address technical and production-related challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct structured evaluations of vendor capabilities, including operational and financial assessments.
- Participate in factory visits to review textile production processes and quality control practices.
Sourcing & Cost Management
- Support textile sourcing strategies focused on efficiency, sustainability, and cost competitiveness.
- Analyze pricing structures and review vendor quotations for feasibility and alignment with commercial targets.
- Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and optimize material flow.
- Support onboarding and qualification of new textile manufacturing partners.
Governance & Documentation
- Ensure vendors operate in alignment with textile industry standards and company compliance requirements.
- Oversee supplier documentation, performance metrics, and reporting processes.
- Maintain structured communication between internal teams and manufacturing partners.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and develop team members within vendor operations.
- Drive accountability for performance targets and cost management objectives.
- Support workforce planning and operational goal achievement.
Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
- 6+ years of progressive experience within the textile or apparel manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with third-party textile manufacturers or sourcing offices.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of textile production processes, materials sourcing, and supplier management.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements within textile manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
