The IT Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of technology assets—hardware (HAM) and software (SAM)—across the enterprise. This role maintains accurate and complete asset records in the CMDB, ensures license compliance and cost optimization, and partners with Procurement, Finance, End-User Services, and Information Security to enforce policy and controls. The Specialist will administer ServiceNow HAM/SAM, drive inventory accuracy, and deliver insights and reports that guide operational and financial decisions.Key Responsibilities ·
- Own the ITAM lifecycle (plan, acquire, receive,
deploy, move, retire/dispose) for hardware and software assets.

Requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). ·
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management covering both HAM and SAM in a corporate environment. ·
- Experience administering ServiceNow ITAM (SAM Pro/HAM); familiarity with Intune or discovery tools. ·
- Working knowledge of CMDB concepts, data quality controls, and reconciliation practices. · Understanding of software licensing models (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.) and compliance/reconciliation methods. ·
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus. ·
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, and IT operations. ·
- Process mindset with documentation skills; ITIL Foundation certification is a plus. ·
- English required; Spanish proficiency is beneficial for local coordination.
