Responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technology landscape of our organization. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure our solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and supervising system architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Leading the adoption of coding standards and best practices from the early design stages.
• Collaborating with development and management teams to ensure the quality and strategic goals of solutions.
• Evaluating integration alternatives and selecting the most suitable technologies for different projects.
• Leading the resolution of complex technical challenges and providing guidance to development teams.
• Acting as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.

Requisitos

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in system development, implementation, or support.
• At least 5 years of experience managing development teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is required.

Technical Knowledge

A strong technical background is essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the following areas:

Core Backend Technologies:

• .NET Framework, Java, Python, JavaScript

Core Frontend Technologies:

• JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular

Core Web Services:

• SOAP Services, REST Services, SOAP UI, Postman, Insomnia, WSDL, SWAGGER

Core Version Control:

• Git (Expert), GitHub

Core Databases:

• SQL Databases: SQL Server, MySQL
• NoSQL Databases: CosmosDB, DynamoDB, MongoDB

Core UML Modeling:

• Unified Modeling Language (Expert)

Industry Standards & Best Practices:

• Data Standards: XSD, XML, XPath (Expert)
• Travel Industry Standards: OTA, IATA
• Security Standards: OWASP, OAUTH, OPENID, PCI, GDPR
• Development Best Practices: OWASP, Clean Code, Code Smells, PCI, GDPR

Architecture & Design Patterns:

• Microservices Architecture
• Client-Server Architecture
• Event-Driven Architecture
• Service-Oriented Architecture (Expert level)

Software Engineering & Architecture:

• Deep expertise in Software Engineering and Architecture

Mobile Application Development Frameworks:

• iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin), Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI, Firebase

Technical Infrastructure & Cloud Platforms:

• Containerization & Orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker
• Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS
• API Management & Gateways
